Ballet Series Part 2 – Emily

JULY 23, 2016

Hacksaws are useful. Strongbox grids are your friend. Pointe shoes and piano pedals don’t get along well. Church organs are freakin’ heavy! A dramatic high-contrast tone was my intention for this shoot. These photos worked so well with black and white (except the last photo). I was going for a really artsy thinking outside the box with these photos. Part 2 of the ballet shoot with the wonderful and talendted Emily George. The focusing system on the 5D Mark II was really pushed to its limits with this shoot. The majority of these photos were taken with the EF 24-105 F4L lens at various settings.
